CHURCHISM

Front page

I use the word “Churchism” to explain nearly 2,000 years of Catholicism and Protestantism, two religions that were not created from the pages of the New Testament for which they are supposed to represent.  Churchism is a religion just like the other 10,000 religions in the world.  Though it claims to be Christianity, there is no resemblance to the body of Christ which existed before 70AD.  When one looks closely at the pages of the Old and New Covenant for the identity of God’s people and those called Christians, one does not read of worshipping Popes or read of Cardinals nor Clergy called Reverend or Fathers nor Bishops with Parishes, nor Monks nor Friars, nor Monasteries, nor Sisters called Nuns, nor Penitence, nor Absolution, nor Purgatory nor Relics, nor Extreme Unction, nor Rosary and the list goes on and on.

Then we look at the Protestants who broke away from Catholicism around 1520AD with the help of Martin Luther and many others who laid the foundation before him.  Although they removed much of Catholicism’s pompous and repetitious ceremonies and much of the hierarchy of the Catholics, the Protestants still have the Catholic doctrine with “church control".  The Protestants also kept the controlling clergies and elders (bishops) and the standard beliefs and concepts of the  Catholic religion.

In my writings I examine the relationship between Catholicism and the Body of Christ to show that there are virtually no comparisons and it is the same for Protestants who were cut out of the Catholicism pattern and not from the “New Covenant” words of our Creator.

You may be thinking by now that I am saying that  for nearly 2,000 years Churchism has been all there was to select from but I am not. I can show you that the way of salvation, separate from both, has always been available for those who have ears to hear the Father and the Son without the help of man’s aggressive influences.

You will discover that God has put no one on earth between Himself and His people.  Neither has God given His people “CHURCHES” to join which have become crutches and friendly comforts zones that suppress and control its members by threat of losing their membership, shunned, excommunicated or withdrawn from. Churches have also become a place for convenient indoctrination with captive audiences. You will discover that to please the Father you are not obligated to join one of the 35,000 denominations or non-denominational churches that exist today or to do what they instruct you to do to be saved.

You will find that the Kingdom of God has been manifested as promised and that all things are new and nothing is as it was before 70AD. In this Kingdom age after 70AD our relationship with the Father is between ourselves and the Father who offered us eternal life through Jesus Christ, being made free and not under the Law but under grace (Romans 6:14, 15, 22, 23). Neither are we waiting for Christ’s return nor are we living in the transition period under the Apostles, Elders and Prophets for those days are gone(30-70AD). Neither are we given the gift of the Holy Spirit by direct revelations from heaven which has passed on and served its purpose as demonstration of the power of God. The revelation from heaven comes to us now in the form of a book we call the "Bible" which recorded the revelations of God and is now the power of God unto salvation. The "Church" is not the power of God unto salvation. The promises made, during the transition, to those people have been fulfilled and the resurrection with eternal life is now available to all who obey the Words of our Father in heaven. The Words were spoken to the earth through His Son and Apostles as foretold 1400 years before Jesus arrived (Deuteronomy 18:18). Paul spoke to the Philippians “work out you own salvation” (Philippians 2:12) saying that Paul will not be a paid preacher for hire, neither would he nor the Father send future preachers after 70AD. No preachers or Clergy of any kind is coming!!! Why would God send more preachers? Did He endow the new preachers after 70AD with the abilities to understand Scriptures better than the rest of us? Did he open their eyes and not ours? Is God the cause of 35,000 denominations? The answer is absolutely not.

Churchism has manipulated man for nearly 1,700 years to control their followers every move and make them pay weekly dues for this service.  They have convinced the world that God, speaking through Christ, gave us Preachers to feed us spiritual food by teaching us and controlling us and that it was God who gave us controlling Elders or Bishops to guide, control and discipline us.  They also have convinced the world that God requires a weekly contribution to keep it going. Was not the Law fulfilled?  It was Churchism that started all of this; God and the New Covenant Scriptures had nothing to do with it.  Our Father said, “The truth shall make you free”(John 8:32). You will become free from ungodly men and Churchism when you forsake the preaching and teachings of Churchism’s preachers and hear what the Father has spoken to us, just as some of the Jews were made free from the Law Ordinance by obeying the voice of God through Jesus and not the voices of the Pharisee and Sadducees.

The words of the New Covenant were written to the saints of the first 70 years through God's only begotten and the Apostles who were all sent with power and authority from heaven; and are written for our learning and preserved for us just as the Old Testament was written for those who lived within that period and was preserved for us as well as for those of old.   We are not told to have Apostles or prophets today; neither are we told to hire "preachers" today because it was the Holy Spirit of God who chose them and sent them before 70AD. It was also the Holy Spirit who chose "elders" back then as stated in Acts 20:28 and was never intended for today.  Neither did God require His followers to “go to worship” or put money in a "church collection plate".

Join with me, if you will, to see things that you may never have noticed or seen before. The law was fulfilled and passed on and the transition during the Law period has passed on in bringing in the "Kingdom of God" which was promised to all those who obeyed the Father’s voice through His Son. It is the Father who will judge those who lived and supported "Churchism" which was created by man just as he judged the Jews, the Gentiles and the divorced Jews who became Gentiles from that generation who walked on dry land when the waters opened up for then by the almighty.

CHURCHISM

DISCLAIMER  and   PURPOSE

The work and research that I pulled together here which I call “CHURCHISM” was intended for my own benefit and kept for my family, however as my research began to find such a great divide between "Churchism" and the "Body of Christ" I felt that others could benefit from my research in exposing a great error of evil. Searching the Scriptures is a life-long endeavor, sadly most have given up personal research and study on a personal level long ago. They have settled on one of the 35,000 Denominations; trusting that someone else has accomplished the Scriptures, who they believe have been favored by God to teach them. They are looking for someone who will explain it to them on a weekly basic by preaching sermons and class teachings.

Once denominational doctrines are declared they do not and cannot change. That is why they cannot grow and increase in the knowledge, wisdom and understanding of the Scriptures because they have put themselves in a box. What they teach and instruct today, they will be still teaching 30-50 years from now without any change or spiritual growth. That is why there are so many splits in Protestants denominations today. To grow in understanding or to change in anything which differs from their original "church doctrine," requires that they break away and form another “church.” In light of the mass confusion generated from nearly two thousand years of Churchism, anyone seeking to know of Heaven’s gift and searching for others who have obeyed our Creator, will either wade through 35,000 different “Churches” today or be wise and go to God’s inspired Words. If they try to find our God and our Savior in “Churches” they will likely give up from the confusion of so many divisions with exhaustive frustration while looking for the right one; or, they will compromise and settle on a denomination that they can tolerate because they have been totally convinced that God requires them to chose from one of the divisions of Churchism. It is this kind of reasoning which has given us 35,000 Denominations.

If you are one of those people who will not read anything which differs from your long-lived denominational beliefs and understanding of the Scriptures, you might consider that there are more than 35,000 different denominations and so called “non-denominations” in the world today just like the one you have chosen. Are you really in the right one or is it not possible that all of them could be the wrong one?
There are many books written about the history of Catholicism and Protestantism giving basically the same information, however, I believe that some books that are written by and for Catholics have managed to put a better light on its history while others who are not Catholics show a much darker side of its history.

Henry H. Hally (1874-1965) prior to 1955 wrote “During the Dark Ages, the (Catholic) Church ….under the domination of the Popes for five hundred years, (10th---15th centuries) ruled the World with as Despotic a hand as any earthly empire had ever done.  Strange, is it not, that Church Supremacy and Dark Ages were CO--EVAL?  The Church the “Light” of the world, brought to the world Midnight Darkness. Why?  It is because the Papacy suppressed all liberties and prohibited the circulation of the Bible among the people. They even put people to death for reading the Bible and in their infinite presumption, substituted Papal Decrees in place of God’s Word. That is what made the Dark Ages----Man’s Devilish Impudence in exalting Himself above God’s Word.”(H.H.Haley)

It might be noted here that we are moving into the next dark ages because our liberties are being taken from us very rapidly by our own government. As the Pope and the Catholic Church once suppressed God’s Words and liberties, we today who are Christians are losing our liberties very rapidly in the last fifty years in the U.S.A. and in all parts of the world brought on by Atheism, Socialism, Progressivism, liberalism, Marxism and many other ungodly influences which include the influx and movement now of the Muslims influence, a worldwide threat to liberty, safety and freedom. If the Muslims had their way Christianity and Jews would disappear from the earth. Recently a news report in 2009 reported a teacher in Texas was forced to remove the American Flag from her class because it may offend some.  America has always been known to the world as a Christian nation because our morals, laws and principles where taken from the Christian Bible which were the bases for the foundation of this nation and our Flag represent that fact. But now there is a giant sucking sound of Christian liberties being sucked out of this nation which will not stop until it is all gone. Socialism and Communism along with the Muslims now can only survive if they are the only game in town, that is why Christianity must be removed. The Muslim threat is growing at a frightening rate. We now have a new President (2008-20011) who for the first time has announced to the world that we are not a Christian nation and that the Muslims have always been a part of the U.S.A.  Because Churchism is now so weak from its many divisions, there is no outcry or marches on Washington to counter this false statement. Divide and conquer! Churchism has been divided and is now being conquered. The Socialistic Atheist, like  buzzards, are already planning our demise and picking at our bones.

To those who find this information that I have written titled “Churchism,” I appeal to you not to show it to your preacher to get his opinion but read it with an open mind.  Your preacher does not have an open mind that is why he is your preacher.  He is convinced beyond any doubt that he knows what is right or wrong, even in light of the fact that there are 35,000 such denominations preaching 35,000 different doctrines.  Your preacher has not been sent by God, this I know.  He is the subject of this study as to whether God sent him to you to explain and teach you what he is not qualified to explain and teach.  If God sent you preachers then why are there more than 35,000 different kinds of preachers in the world?  Is God the author of such confusion?

I make no claim to be wiser or smarter than others in my research. I do believe, however, that simple minds and higher educated minds have a level playing field when it comes to understanding that which our Creator has given us. It is the meek and humble heart who can separate himself or herself from man’s invention of the “Church” and all other such inventions which has influenced and dominated  our thinking. It is the meek and humble who also will be blessed of the Father to have their eyes opened. Unless God opens our eyes we will never see with understanding. Christ spoke in parables so that the enemies of God could not see or understand, -All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he not unto them:” (Matthew 13:3). Then in Colossians 1:23, 26, “The gospel….which was preached to every creature which is under heaven….even the mystery which has been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to "His Saints.”  So why would we believe that the unsaved today and all the unsaved since 70AD would be able to see and understand the written Words of God? Paul told the Corinthians “but if our gospel be hid (veiled) it is hid to them that are lost (perish)” ( 2 Corinthians 4:3). I don’t see where God has changed His mind about this. I really believe that a rejection of man’s work is a prerequisite to understanding the Scriptures. Is there any doubt as to why the so-called great scholars of the world cannot even agree as to what the Scriptures are teaching us?

Normally I use the King James version of text but at times I use others which is easier for understanding.
